All staff at Balkerne Gardens Trust have been carefully selected and have had an enhanced criminal record check and employment checks to ensure that they are suitable to work in a care environment. Staff receive regular appraisals, supervision and training to ensure that they are able to deliver a high standard of care. Staff retention is good and the level of sickness low. Generally, staff feel supported in their work and there are opportunities for training and development.
